The Story

2026 Nukeproof Mega - The Aluminium Warrior

The Nukeproof Mega has over a decade of racing heritage, multiple Enduro World Series titles, and a reputation for being one of the most dependable long-travel enduro bikes on the market. The latest Mega Alloy Pro continues that legacy with updated suspension kinematics, refined geometry, and a tough, fully forged aluminium frameset built to handle aggressive riding day after day.

Alloy Frame, Built to Last

The Mega Alloy frame is constructed from T6061-T6 aluminium with hydroformed tubes and fully forged components. It’s engineered for strength, predictable handling and simple maintenance, with full rubber protection on the down tube, seatstays and chainstays. Tube-in-tube routing makes cable installation clean and straightforward.

Refined Suspension Kinematics

Using Nukeproof’s latest Horst-link design, the Mega delivers improved small-bump sensitivity, supportive mid-stroke control, and a progressive end-stroke for confidence on big hits. Anti-squat has been tuned for efficient pedalling, and the widened SAG range helps riders fine-tune setup to terrain.

Size-Specific Wheel Platforms

To ensure consistent handling across the size range, the Mega uses a split wheel setup:

  • S, M, L — MX (297): 29” front / 27.5” rear
  • XL & XXL — Full 29” front and rear

Smaller sizes benefit from the agility and clearance of a mullet layout, while larger sizes take advantage of full-29er stability and rollover.

Practical Enduro Details

A short seat tube with generous insertion depth supports long-travel droppers. The frame fits a 750 ml bottle inside the front triangle, uses SRAM UDH for easy drivetrain compatibility, and features durable MAX bearings for long-term reliability.

Who It’s For

The Mega Alloy Pro is built for riders who want a proven, confidence-inspiring enduro bike with race-ready performance and zero-nonsense durability. From weekend missions to EWS-style stages, it delivers the control, support and toughness the Mega platform is known for.
